Tyres
Tyres are black in colour because a substance known as carbon black is added to them during the manufacturing process. This strengthens the tyres and also protects them from the Sun's harmful Ultra Violet (UV) radiation. UV radiation from the sun can cause tyres to wear out and break. Carbon black converts the UV radiations into heat thus protecting the tyre.
கார்பன் பிளாக் எனப்படும் வேதிப்பொருள், டயர்கள் உற்பத்தியின் போது சேர்க்கப்படுவதால், டயர்கள் கருப்பு நிறத்தில் உள்ளது. இது டயர்களை பலப்படுத்துகிறது மற்றும் சூரியனிலிருந்து வரும் தீங்கு விளைவிக்கும் புற ஊதாக் கதிர்வீச்சிலிருந்து டயர்களை பாதுகாக்கிறது. புற ஊதாக் கதிர்வீச்சால் டயர்கள் தேய்ந்து பிளக்க வாய்ப்புள்ளது. கார்பன் பிளாக் எனப்படும் இந்த வேதிப்பொருள் புற ஊதாக் கதிர்களை வெப்பமாக மாற்றி டயர்களை பாதுகாக்கிறது.
